Jason and Ami were walking to school together, since they lived in the same direction.
“I can’t believe all that’s happened in less than a week,” said Jason, sighing.
“I know, it’s incredible,” replied Ami. “I wonder when you and Hiro are going to get your digimon?”
Jason sighed. “I dunno, but I hope it’s soon. Hey, where’d you leave Decamon?”
Ami groaned. “I tried to bring him to school in my bag, but it was just too hyper and noisy. So I left it home. I hope he doesn’t eat my mom’s plants.”
Jason laughed. “I’d love to see your mom’s face if a strange round blue thing ate her flowers!” Ami cracked up.
“She would probably think it’s an alien and call the National Guard!” Both laughed and hurried to get to school.
Hiro did not feel happy at all. He might be the last one to get his digimon! Kyra had Renamon, who was really strong, Ami had Decamon, who no one, not even the D-Power, had any info on, so it must be rare, and Jason didn’t seen anxious that the girls had gotten digimon already, and the guys didn’t. Hiro didn’t know it, but Jason WAS anxious that he wasn’t getting his digimon…<br>
Lunch
Jason, Tai, Kyra, and Ken were playing a quick game of soccer during lunch. It was Ken and Tai versus Kyra and Jason. Normally, Ken was a great player, but he was going too easy on Kyra, (he has a crush on her; but Kyra doesn’t know. Right now, she only thinks of him as a close friend) now the score was 3 to 1. (Kyra’s team winning)
At one point in the game, Tai got mad and kicked the ball to Ken, but he put to much strength into it, and the ball sailed up, up, up, and over the fence, into the old, abandoned parking lot. Jason was in a good mood, so he offered to get it while Tai and Kyra got into an argument.
Jason carefully stepped over old wood blocks and stones to get to the ball. Just as he reached it, a digital field suddenly appeared. “AhhhH!” he yelled as he covered his eyes with his arms. He disappeared into the fog.
When the smoke cleared, Jason saw a digimon in front of him. He had never seen one like this before. It looked like a little machine thing with cords and plugs all over it’s body. *Could this be my digimon? Or will it attack me?*
Sora was worried. She had 5th period with Jason, but class had already started and he hadn’t showed up. She tried to concentrate on her work, but she was too distracted.
20 minutes into the class, Jason finally showed up, surprisingly in a good mood. He apologized to the teacher, saying he had to take care of something. Even though Ms. Yamni gave him detention on Wednesday, he still looked happy. And also dirty. He had a smudge on his cheek and his uniform was ripped on the cuff of his shirt.
As he took his seat next to Sora, she leaned over and whispered, “Where were you?” he grinned and said, “I’ll tell you all about it during passing period!”<br>
