“Ken! Hey buddy you okay?” hhhmmmm… did someone call my name? ……… Davis yelled in Ken’s ear. “KEN!!!” “Ahhhh! Da, Da… Ddavis?” stumbled Ken. “Hey dude, what’s up with you?” Davis complained annoyingly. But Ken had floated off in his own world once again. Davis groaned and yelled, “Ken! Kari’s here!” That hit home. Ken turned bright red and started stumbling, “KKKKKa, Kari..?!!! Hi KARI!” then, he looked around and realized everyone was laughing. But he didn’t see his Tai or Mimi, and definitely not Kari. The group had been teasing him about this for days and he usually took it well. He turned redder as he realized what Davis had done. Davis laughed and joked, “Nice going Ken, what are you gonna do when the REAL Kari gets here?” That did it. Ken snapped. Already tense from the lack of sleep, he felt too overwheled to deal with Davis. He growled “DAVIS!” and grabbed him by the neck of his shirt. “Don’t ever do that to me again Davis!” he yelled. “Hey, chill dude, I was just joking! What’s wrong with you today?” Davis said, shocked. Ken suddenly realized what he was doing. He let go of Davis and looked around dazedly. Everyone was so shocked, that they had dropped everything they were doing and was staring at him. What have I done? He thought to himself miserably.
What’s wrong with Ken today? Sora thought worridly. He had gotten over a lot of his shyness since the final battle with Malomyotismon last year, and was more relaxed since then, but he was still so gentle and kind. He wouldn’t hurt a bug! What was wrong? Maybe lack of sleep? He did have dark circles under his eyes…. Maybe I’d better talk to him. “Um Ken? May I speak with you for a moment?” Great, now I sound like my English teacher. Ken was frozen, stiff as a board, looking down at the floor. “Ken! Sora’s talking to you!” said Joe loudly. Ken’s head snapped up. Sora gasped as she looked at his face. He seemed so…so…miserable, no, that wasn’t it, he looked….. like he was in a lot of… pain? Sora grabbed his wrist and pulled him toward the exit. He didn’t protest. Everyone was still deathly silent. “Errr… we’ll be right back, “ Sora said hurridly and led him outside…..
Yolei frowned. Ken did NOT look so good today. “I hope Sora can find out what’s wrong with him so we can help,” she said to Davis. “Umm… yeah… I hope so too,” he said absentmindedly. He was looking at the door where all passengers came out of. He really needed to talk to Kari about Ken. He was acting so weird today. No one seemed to be able to snap him out of it, so naturally, he thought, if anyone can do it, it’s Kari. He spotted a familiar face coming through the door. It was Mimi! “Mimi!” he shouted. Everyone started going crazy. “Where?! Where?” Matt shouted. “Over there!"said Cody.
